When a black colored car is dirty, it looks terrible but when it's clean and shiny, it's so beautiful!

Agree. Having a hard time right now with my newly acquired pre-owned 8G Embarrassed

mga bro, yung nga sana balak ko ipa-detail o polish magkaiba ba yun tapos yung zealant ba eh pwede ma-protect yung swirl mark..

with regards to ziebarts?  san location and number pls..

sabi nga pala sa casa ng honda meron daw sila inapply na hydrophillic paint protector...thus, the effectivity of this paint will loosen or lessen it's effectiveness..if i chose to detail and apply zealant..

thanks in advance for the upcoming info

baka what they meant was hydrophobic... hindi hydrophillic... you can try using Meg's NXT 2.0 or Meg's Ultimate Quick Detailer...  :thumbsup:NXT 2.0 can help mask some swirlmarks and super kintab talaga especially at night, the Ultimate Quick detailer can  maintain the shine... and both the 2.0 and the UQD have hydrophobic technology na nagrerepel ng water... goodluck! Honda created their own term "hydrophillic" for their paint protection system.

hardinero, here's my advice for you:

- have your car detailed once or twice a year
- wax it every month
- wash it every week

oh, I also suggest getting a clay bar.  Wink

diba masama sa top coat pag twice a year detailing?  baka maubos kagad ang top coat?

depende din sa paint mismo. i have seen 2 different cars, both brand new, both black, one has swirl marks the first week. the other none visible. one is a honda one is a ford.

in my opinion, honda's black paint is the worst black paint you can get. or they might just be holding back on the clear coat.

thank you.  akala ko ako lang nakaka kita nito e.  our 2 month old black civic looks TERRIBLE.  and i say it in the nicest terms.  while it is true that our maids wash the civic, (balasubas minsan e!) but they always use chamois for the first wash and for drying and microfiber cloth to finish it.

kaya lang super daming swirl marks, as in super dami.  kahit gabi kita.  tapos FADED na yung black.  i'll take a picture tomorrow of my black lancer (k92 paint, so it's not really fair - and i wash this car myself, and nobody else.) katabi yung black civic (2 mos old, stock paint), parang greyish na nga e.  lalo na pag tinamaan ng ilaw.

marami din ako nakikita na black fr civic na ganyan din tulad sayo, faded ang daming swirl. parang d ata maganda ang nagamit na black paint sa mga civic.

just my 2 cents, try mo pagbaliktarin ang process ng paglilinis ng maid mo. try mo,pang wash ang micro fiber ( punasan nyo with running water from the hose) then dry with chamois.
