mga bro, yung nga sana balak ko ipa-detail o polish magkaiba ba yun tapos yung zealant ba eh pwede ma-protect yung swirl mark..

with regards to ziebarts?  san location and number pls..

sabi nga pala sa casa ng honda meron daw sila inapply na hydrophillic paint protector...thus, the effectivity of this paint will loosen or lessen it's effectiveness..if i chose to detail and apply zealant..

thanks in advance for the upcoming info

if the swirl marks aren't that deep yet, you can go DIY. get yourself a s set of mothers phase 1-3 (pre-wax, sealer and glaze, carnauba wax).  also a set of microfiber towels.

don't just have your car wash sa tabi-tabi. imo, yun ang cause ng mga swirl marks. i've seen a brand new suv being washed at an el cheapo car wash using chamois and pranela.  Tongue

hardinero, here's my advice for you:

- have your car detailed once or twice a year
- wax it every month
- wash it every week

oh, I also suggest getting a clay bar.  Wink

tnx bro for this advise...

regarding the wax  meron kasi ako  natira na simoniz diamond and it says it eliminate those fine scratches, spider webbing and
swirl marks..though i haven't tried this sa black kung car... and i don't know kung abrasive ba siya ok sana yung it can eliminate swirl mark..

may wax ba na ganito..yung parang best of both world.....not abrasive sa paint or  clear coat soemehting protectant ata yun
and it can eliminate swirl marks..

with regards to washing ako na nagwa-wash para di na ako mag-alala pa..

haven't tried Simoniz but so far the best bang for the buck wax for me is turtle wax platinum. easy-on easy-off sya. should you choose mid priced waxes, you can try mothers reflections wax.

When a black colored car is dirty, it looks terrible but when it's clean and shiny, it's so beautiful!

Black color is really hard to maintain. You either have a lot of time and energy to DIY paint maintenance or you bring it to Big Bert's in Ortigas (near Home Depot). In my case, I enrolled my black car in Big Bert's paint maintenance program for 1 year (every 3 months, they maintain and beautify the paint job).  In between, I wash/shampoo the car every other day using micro fiber washing and drying materials.  If it's just a little dusty, I use a blower and then a calfornia duster then quick detailer.

One time I made the mistake of having it washed in the mall parking.  Big mistake...swirl marks galore! Had to bring it to Big Bert's right away to minimize visibility of the swirl marks.  These mall carwash guys do not know how to properly wash cars.

by beautifying your car in Big Bert's ..i was just anxious if the materials they are putting are abrasive to paint...my car is just 3 weeks old....i'm planning to bring it at big berts but the casa says it's sayang since the car is just new..

but there are really lots of swirl marks on it especially on the hood...i'm suspect that this was cause by people in casa who buff the car..

New car? More so that you do paint protection to maintain/prolong the new car paint look.  Look for Vincent of Big Bert's to explain to you the process and how it works. Vincent should give me a free carwash for this plug.

huh? sayang? how can it be sayang?? its easier to start protecting your paint while its new than reviving old/dull paint surfaces..  its better to take it to the expert and let them handle it Smiley

sige, do bring it to big berts and look for vince na din Smiley  para may free car wash na din ako hahahaha  Evil 5 Thumbs up

We're on the same boat, insofar as having a black car is concerned.

Here are some articles worth reading:

Hope the links help.

Good luck.
