This is the most ridiculous regulation I have ever heard. Compromising rider safety because of the inefficiency of the police to protect the people.

Pangotra sa hold-up - hulihin at patayin mga magnanakaw. Wag na ikulong sayang taxes natin diyan.

Very FERNANDO-ISH!

Well hindi naman ipinagbawal yung pagsusuot ng BONNET sa Switzerland or any parts of the world...and yet the BONNET has always been the standard cover of terrorists and hold uppers. Dapat siguro palitan na nila buong police force nila if they can't curb the crimes being perpetrated there. Wag yung iko compromise nila yung safety ng motorists kasi incompetent sila.

They are dumb if you think of it hinuhuli nila mga walang helmet then pag may helmet ka namang full-face huhulihin rin nila WTF! full-face helmets are the most appropriate protection for the head and i also use it to to protect myself from dust and wind and also if you think of it pano if you are not from Marikina and you only passed by huhulihin rin ba nila yun?

Ditto.

I use to agree with most of his policies, but after he wanted to cut down the trees in Katipunan, I still gave him a chance. This one, though, is just plain dumb.

So what's next?

I remember I've seen a feature on TV about Marikina's prostitution.

Hi guys,

Actually it is still a proposal and not yet implemented

I e-mailed the Community Relations Office of Marikina and here was his reply:

Mr.,

The said ordinance is still under the city council and still not yet implemented. Still a proposal as we can say it but better
have a copy of that ordinance for your guidance. Please call 6413124 and look for Ms. Lulu de Leon, oue City Council Secretariat.

I hope i answered your inquiries..

Yours in service,

Subject: Full Face Helmet Ban in Marikina
Importance: High

Sir/ Ma’am,

Good day!

I briefly saw in television (Unang Hirit) an ordinance regarding a ban of using/ wearing of Full Face Helmet in Marikina.

I usually go to Marikina for business matters using my motorcycle and I find it somewhat inappropriate not to use full face helmet.

Could I get a complete copy of this ordinance?

Thank you in advance.

Guys, cheer up, at least they didn't ban MOTORCYCLES because they were also being used to commit a crime!although i am afraid some cretin would cook thhis up someday!

that is classic stupid, reactionary attitude courtesy of our tax-guzzling government.
