Trust myself? I sure as hell will. I'm going to trust myself not to even follow his car modification theory one teeny bit lest I get posted in this damn thread.

More ricey pics...

this one is not based here but hello!?!?!?! if  want a skyline but u only got an integra, then maybe sell ur integra and get a skyline. if u cant afford a skyline, then maybe do stuff to ur teg to make it go faster. this guy had a different ricey solution:

tawag niya ay "integline" kasi integra + skyline.

yes, that car is vic's he lives in california too.. actually mond, i think the conversion looks really good, he's getting alot of kudos for that. not to mention he is also the leader of team solo... have you checked his mods on the car in terms of engine and performance? he has nice mods, and equally distributes his investments in the car from looks and engine.

Maganda na yung speakers ng stock na EVO, I just upgraded the HU to a Pioneer MP3 with 50wX4 ok na ok na yung tunod ng spekears, super linaw, hindi na kailangang pakabit ng additonal amplifier for the speakers.

As far as performace goes talagang maxed na yung turbo, I'm still using the stock 9.8 Housing 03 EVO 8 Turbo, I heard that with the 9.8 housing the turbo will spool faster than  the 10.5 housing turbo which are stock on the 04 and 05 EVOS.

Nag pakabit na din ako ng SMC Alcohol Injection, I also upgraded my injectors to 660cc and also bought a HKS DLI 2 Ignition Amplifier and colder irdium plugs to accomodate the 30psi of boost on pump gas.

It made 410whp and 400 wtq of torque boosting that high, very reliable na man yung tune, idle is like stock, the boost kicks it at 30psi and tapers down to 26-24 by redline. Feels like a truck going 40kph hit you from behind when the boosts kicks in Grin It also gives me a smile when exiting thru tight corners Cool

With the Methanol Injection and 91 pump gas, it raises your Octane level close to C16 Race Gas, that is why I can set higher timing and leaner fuel curves, plus high boost 30psi on my UTEC via Laptop.

With race gas only and without the aid of alky injeciton, I can only safetly boost to 26 psi max on the turbo.

I'm still using the stock clutch medyo hinay hinay lang sa shifting baka masira transfer case Grin with that kind of power on tap.

All the mods are listed on the link below

http://forums.jdmcentral.net/vbpicgallery.php?do=view&g=21

Kung meron ditong evo enthusiats, and have any questions regarding performance upgrades nila, I can give you good advice on engine setup and which is the best parts for your car PM nalang Cool

hey bro, i didnt know you had an evo, although i have been seeing your posts in the past.

1. i have seen your evo before in megamall, around 2-3 months ago i believe.. if i am not mistaken, with gold rims...

2. is that your everyday car? how is it in terms of drivability here in the philippines? that should be a car that you could maximize the handling and mods on the track, rather on the street, if i am not mistaken,, which tight corners did you say it was fast while exiting?

3. dunno lang if your evo, maybe its 2003 that why, or is it orig US, because me myself the sound system sound like a civic, much more the dashboard and the key alarm looks like a civic, if not, maybe even worse IMO.

4. 30 PSI on stock turbo with the mods you have is very impressive. i have never seen an evo with the mods you have boost this much... buti naman so far wala pa naman nangyayari sayo..

5. how did you tune your car? dyno tuning?

6. our stock clutches are damn weak... alot change it already before 10k - 15k miles... depending on how you drive it.. hehe

Archiebabes is in the US.

Skyline/integra - yan ba yung yellow dati? If so, tagal na niyan, late 90's siguro or 2000. That owner was asked a lot of times why he didn't sell the teg and buy a skyline instead. He just replied that it would be too easy.

I wouldn't exactly call modifications "improvements"; I'd use "personalization". some might think that their stock rims are just too plain, so depends on who it is, he/she will get a Rota, 5Zigen or Sprewell. And if we're talking about a fast car in stock form, hell, if I had the money I'd get an RX-7. but since I got my 323 free from my parents (its formally mine when I graduate), that won't stop me from saving up for the RX7, but once it hits 100,000kms, a BPT engine swap sounds better than an outright overhaul.

Heck, even if I had the $$$ and decide to go for an M3, It'll probably end up in Steve Dinan's shop to get a supercharger. let's face it, no car is perfect for absolutely all people. some might like the high rpms of the M3 but there will be some who would want some more oomph at midrange, which will help at the track. and no, spare me the argument about buying a race car and not a street to begin with, for one, that race car needs a truck to haul it to the damn track, not to mention that it would be illegal to drive even if the suspension can be temporarily set up for the street.

Some poeple will do it the other way around though. they'd buy a really fast Ferrari or Aston Martin, then put 22" spinners on the damn thing after the engineers went to great lenghts designing the wheels. just think of it this way. a Cadillac would look great with spinners, but I sure wouldn't put BBS rims on it unless it as a V model or the XLR. A Ferrari would benefit from BBS or OZ racing wheels, which might even be smaller in diameter, but I definitely wouldn't slap spinners on any Ferrari.
