if i would rate sa spl yun 3 subs na pinagpipilian mo i think pinakamalakas ang L5 followed by compvrs and then w0 but kung if you want in the middle of spl and sq i would choose the comvr cuz masyadong matigas ata ang L5 then wala masyadong punch ang w0 malambot siya eh.. so gitna ang compvr... kung w3v2 naman i think you can tune it pang sq and if you want spl kayang kaya rin.. depende rin sa box i think |

even though compVRs are SPL type of subs compared to most JLs, it's better than the solobarics IMO. im not saying that barics can't be used for SQ. pwede din, pero i'd prefer using a compVR if its a lil bit of both.
on the other hand, ang w0 kaya din bumayo eh..hmmm...depende talaga. look at it this way na lang....ur in the middle right? SPL and SQ? which side are u leaning more? that might answer ur question on what to buy.

Sub selection depends on the enclosure type, power, and application. I'd choose the w0 kasi it will need a smaller box to have a well dampened response(<.7 qtc) than the compvr and the L5.
Kung habol mo lang talaga ay output... sa L5 ka na.
Kung SQ naman habol mo, I'd look somewhere else. Although the w0 is a decent performer.

wow tnx for all the help guys! keep em coming pls!!! medyo budget kasi ako so cant afford those high ends of JL... andrew...well i guess just added clarity but a bit more of the spl....pwede na ba yun? kasi yung 12"compvr n 10" L5 solobaric...mas mahal lang ng konti yung solobaric... iba ba talaga dating ng mga ito? same brand naman, n the solobarics smaller pa...help pa pls!!! tnx!  |

kt, i suggest try to audition different subs first before buying. invite nga pala kita sa upcoming eb ng audioindustriya tentative on march 15. huwag mo madaliin yan kasi baka masayang lang ang pera mo sa pagbili ng sub na hindi mo naman gusto ang tunog. just a piece of advice! |
