for 80k more you can have the 300hp GRB Sti! no brainer. plus the ralliart's front looks too weak compared to the X haha

the Ralliart looks exactly like the facelifted Lancer EX GT-A IMO!

@AM Im not sure how passing the units through Singapore would decrease the price of the car
I don't remember the details, but supposedly there's a loophole in the system.

Maybe ASEAN free-tarriff agreements? Might be something similar which allows Subaru to keep their prices low locally. (because if they had the same tax structure as other straight-from-Japan imports, the WRX would be over 2m as well).

i wonder if its gonna be cheaper if the units are from the US instead of Japan.. mataas ang yen i think.. given the same tax situation..

AFAIK, these are said to be US models, I just dont know if they are shipped directly from the US.

The 2010 EX GTA looks exactly the same as the EX Ralliart sans the hood (exterior). Not sure with the rear bumper. To the untrained eye, they may even mistaken it as an Evo X!

Speaking of which, I saw lots of poser GTAs in our area wearing "Evolution" badges already! Not only that, meron pa nga mga naka bodykit complete with Evo badges pero kitang kita either GTA or GT. Nothing wrong of being a GTA or GT, but just dont be a trying hard poser. If only the Ricey cars thread was still alive, I could have bombarded it with pictures already.

They put Evo badges and a bodykit on the GT or GTA, but no wide fenders?  I wonder how that looks like, like some odd narrow body Evo?

Yes, and even the diffusers at the rear bumpers looks "pilit". Front bumper is also close to the real thing but built only for the narrow bodied EX. Malayo palang you would notice something different.

Too pricey to compete, too late to rally sales. Subys still get the vote on the price wars.  Rock On!

Haha, it's kind of funny you guys are reacting the same way most buyers\enthusiasts here in the US reacted when the Ralliart came out. Here, it's starts at $27.5k with no options. That's $3-4k more than a similarly equipped 2010 WRX sedan that has MORE horsepower I might add. The Ralliart has been out for a little over year now and I've only seen a hand full on the road since then. Mitsubishi dropped the ball on this one IMO, they priced it way above it's main competitor the WRX. Praises go to Subaru for improving the 08 WRX (which most agree is a disappointment) and coming up with the 09/2010 WRX which is actually faster than an STI in several tests.

Too pricey, I must say. I don't know with Mitsubishi, it's like, they're not looking at their competitor's pricing schemes before slapping on a hefty amount for their vehicles.

The WRX is better than this lancer ralliart vehicle. And, you still get extra money with that 2.3 Million if you buy a WRX Impreza.

anywhere in the world, an evo is always pricier than an impreza STI.

if you can afford an ex-ralliart then you can afford an EVO. adding a few more to the said amount will get you an evo and will be practical in the long run.
