thanks guys. i might be snagging up a 77 celica liftback and figured Id start looking for parts. the liftback has grown on me for some reason and i do hope i get it. the wife is not happy about it because im not even close to done with the coupe but the oppurtunity to get the liftback is here and now so im gonna have to bite the bullet on this one if it pans out.
TORC is next weekend and its my first time to ceck it out. Im pretty excited about it.   

you'll have a good time sa TORC for sure. this will be a perfect time to get in touch with most of our kababayans who have the same passion. too bad i won't be able to come, next year maybe.

A diamond in the rough that needs a good polishing. This is one diamond that my wife is upset with. This is the next money pit. This one is gonna be on the back burner. I need to get the coupe finished before next winter, at least the body work.

ah nice... i saw one like that for sale recently. condition is ok but am still looking for the 1st gen celica with the smiling face bumpers Smiley


its got brown interior, 5 pieces of rims and a patch-up dashboard..

I've actually seen a 2000GT in the Philippines back in 2006. This was at the Car Show held at the Manila Polo Club. I was to mesmerized by the Ferraris that I failed to take a picture =(

nacho libre

im half done with my celica.
im just having a problem with my engine, it has oil leak and my mechanic cant figure out the problem,
in addition to that, the fuel consumption is unbearable. stock 20r.
anyways, im happy with the progress of the restoration. i will post some pics next time.
by the way, are you here in the philippines? where exactly is your location?
i work in cavite city
