Mga sir.

Tanong Lang po, alin mas maganda regular or iridium spark plug? I mean of course iridium will be good since it's expensive, but is it worth for the price? Sabi mas tipid ba sa gas pag iridium plugs gamit mo. Is it true? What are other benifits of using iridium sparkplugs?

My car is Honda crv 1998 and civic esi.

iridiums should last around 30-40k kms. so less hassle in the long run.

if the engine is designed to use iridiums like gen3 CRV, FD yes dapat talaga yan gamitin. 60T kms ang life ng plugs. pero for old cars mas sulit yung orig specs. And is apa iridiums ang cause ng erratic idling ng mga 7th gen civic kaya casa went back to normal plugs for the ES. 90 pesos lang naman NGK BKR6e or 5e

So does it contribute to fuel economy or just longer life span? Yung iba panay lang ang linis ng plugs, tapos reuse. Ok lang ba yun basta gumagana? Anong pwedeng maging effect later on? Thanks!

OT: Whoa! 90 php lang NGK. Grabe pala sumingil ang Timog Tire Haus, 275 isang NGK plug dun eh...

kuripot siguro yung iba kaya linis plugs lang ginagawa. Sa halagang 90 pesos each palitan nalang plugs after 1 year or 20T kms sulit na ang 380 pesos (4cyl engine)  Eat

go green, less waste should be the way to go.
I don't replace plugs unless they cannot be re-gapped or cleaned.
If busted, then there is no other way but to replace them as a set.

ckeck mo to http://sparkplugs.com makikita mo dyan yung equivalent ng plugs mo

madami naman kinds ng ngk, there are platinum, copper, iridium. check what kind they installed before thinking they overcharged you.

Noted, sir Speedy. Ang pagkakasabi kasi eh regular plugs daw, walang nabanggit kung iridium or platinum. Sana naka-specify sa receipt para matignan ko ulit. Thanks!

use standard/OEM specs for old cars like urs. try using silicon high tension wire instead of changing the spark plugs. it distributed more electricity to the plugs to burn all the fuel(more power less fuel). check at banawe for the tension wire. dont use hi octane fuel on city driving, regular will do. regular tune-up & change oil will help maintain your engine to last longer.

Wala akong pangtanggal sir Migs. I still have the box, it looks regular. Nothing indicates it's iridium or platinum or whatever  Angry
