100,000th Porsche Panamera rolls off Leipzig factory

Since its introduction in 2009

The Porsche plant in Leipzig, Germany, just finished producing the 100,000th Panamera since it was introduced in 2009. The milestone vehicle that drove off the assembly line was a Panamera S E-Hybrid which made its debut at the Shanghai Auto Show last April.

“In over 120 countries, Panamera customers drive a Porsche that is ‘Made in Leipzig’ and sport this quality seal around the globe. The team and I are very proud of this,” says Siegfried Bülow, Chairman of the Board of Porsche Leipzig GmbH.

The employees at the Leipzig plant also commemorated the milestone by signing on a paper wall inside the facility.
