Lexus gave a glimpse into their upcoming models earlier this year in their video at the 2012 Geneva Auto Show. The video showed heavily shadowed fascias of their future vehicles in their lineup. Featured on the video were the ES, LS and IS. With the ES making its debut in April, this left the LS and IS. This morning, an apparent "leak" from Lexus UK's Twitter and Facebook confirmed that the LS will be unveiled on July 30 in San Francisco, California. The possibility of an F Sport variant of the LS, was also confirmed in the "leak".
The posts were later taken off in both social networking pages/feeds of Lexus UK.
Lexus has confirmed the lineup for the 2013 LS as the LS 460, LS 460 L long wheelbase, LS 600h L hybrid sedan and the all-new LS 460 F SPORT. A live webcast of the launch can be viewed on July 30 8:30 p.m. PDT, on their website www.lexus.com and on facebook.com/lexus.
The Lexus ES is set to make its Philippine debut this month as confirmed by our sighting of an ES being unloaded from a car carrier outside the Lexus Manila showroom over the weekend.
