2015 Hyundai Veloster Turbo update gets 7-speed DCT
The 2015 Hyundai Veloster Turbo will be fitted with a smoother 7-speed DCT as standard

Hyundai recently gave the Veloster Turbo a refresh for the 2015 model year with a tweaked exterior, new interior features and a new double clutch gearbox.
Minor changes were done on the exterior like a restyled headlight, a character line on the side of the car, new wheel designs and a different grill trim. Also available for the updated Veloster is an Intense Red finish.

Inside, the 2015 Hyundai Veloster Turbo makes use of two-tone colored seats and two-tone colored door sills. Leather upholstered seats will come as optional extras. A neat feature included on the 2015 model year is an engine sound equalizer which allows users to select from 6 different engine soundtracks.

Powering the facelifted Hyundai Veloster Turbo will still be the 1.6-liter inline-four GDI engine that is rated to produce 204 PS and 265 Nm of torque. The engine is then mated to Hyundai's new 7-speed dual clutch gearbox, replacing the outgoing 6-speed manual. According to the Korean automaker, the new gearbox gives better fuel economy and is a lot smoother than the 6-speed manual.
