Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has launched the 2015 D-Max at the Clark International Speedway in Pampanga.

According to IPC, the 2015 D-Max is designed to “become even more powerful and ready to conquer any kind of terrain.” Gracing the event was IPC President Nobuo Izumina who said that the company's challenger in the pickup segment can deliver top performance in whatever terrain.

“The 2015 Isuzu D-MAX has what a typical pick-up user would want in his/her truck. It is proven to show its top performance in whatever terrain – whether on or off road,” Izumina said.

In terms of the exterior, the 2015 D-Max is fitted with new projector headlights as well as LED combination taillights. It also has a custom bedliner with Isuzu logo and reverse sensor system.

Inside, the 2015 D-Max has a dark grey interior theme along with silver accents. IPC added that the D-Max features a new 2-DIN infotainment system, available in the LT-X and LS variants.

Aside from the interior features, the 2015 D-Max has recently received 4 stars in the ASEAN New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) and bagged the Best Child Occupant Protection award given by the Automobile Association Philippines.

Under the hood, the 2015 D-Max is powered by the brand's 2.5-liter 4JK1-TC (Hi) engine, fitted with Common Rail Direct Injection and an intercooled Variable Geometry System turbocharger. With this, the 2015 D-Max delivers an output of 136 PS at 3400 rpm and 320 Nm of torque between 1800 to 2800 rpm.

In addition, IPC has introduced a new variant of the 2015 D-Max, the LT-X 4x2 manual transmission.
