Nissan revamps the Patrol Royale for 2015

Visual changes made to the Patrol Royale include a bolder V-Motion grill, now incorporating three bars on the center and two bars on each corner, which replaces the previous honeycomb design. It also gets new, built-in LED headlights and the foglight housings are now bigger, featuring chrome trim. At the back, the 2015 Patrol Royale sheds the clear tail lights and now comes with revised clusters. The revamped Patrol Royale also gets a new set of 20-inch wheels.

Inside, wood trim has now been applied to the steering wheel whereas the outgoing model featured a fully wrapped leather wheel. Otherwise, the interior remains unchanged. Like the outgoing model, the revamped Patrol Royale features leather trim in the door panels, center console and chrome accents to brighten up the tan interior.

As for safety equipment and driver assists, the Patrol Royale is equipped with Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist, Anti-lock Braking System, full curtain airbags, along with traction and stability control.

The biggest change made to the Patrol Royale isn't with the car itself but rather, its price. For 2015, Nissan's large SUV gets a significant price drop. Originally priced at Php 4,990,000, Nissan PH has reduced the base price by one million pesos, putting the large SUV at a more accessible price point. The updated Patrol Royale now starts at Php 3,990,000.
