As if 340 PS wasn't enough, Audi has just upgraded their RS Q3 performance crossover with a horsepower bump. Audi tweaked the 2.5 liter, turbocharged inline five mill to add another 37 PS to the compact crossover.
For 2016, the RS Q3 now puts out 367 PS. Torque also gets a significant hike, gaining 30 Nm in the process. Torque is now rated at 465 Nm, 15 more than the ongoing model. The power boost now puts the RS Q3 toe to toe with its hatchback relative, the RS3. According to Audi, the upgrade helps the RS Q3 sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and will keep on going to its electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. Audi will also offer a de-limited version soon after with a top speed of 270 km/h.
Audi has also revamped the transmission of the RS Q3. The brand said that the revised sport-tuned seven-speed S tronic transmission gives the car “a more exciting drive” over the current 340 PS version. Separating the RS Q3 from standard Q3s are the exclusive Ascari Blue paint option, lowered suspension with a wider stance, sportier front bumpers with large intakes, titanium-look trim and a rear diffuser.
