To debut at the 2015 NAIAS in Detroit
Chevrolet has recently teased the rear end look of the soon-to-arrive 2016 Volt. The American automaker did not divulge any specifics about the new Volt but the image shows that it may look more stylish with its shapely lines.
As of the monent, Tim Mahoney, Global Chevrolet Chief Marketing Officer said that the 2016 Volt will debut at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
“Volt is the perfect example of the ingenuity that drives everything we do at Chevrolet. Volt fully delivers on the promises of Find New Roads and will continue to provide consumers with the transportation solutions they need and deserve in the future”, said Mahoney.
According to Chevrolet, sales of the Volt went up by 13% and more than 65,000 units have been sold, making the car the top-selling plug-in hybrid in the US market. Chevrolet also said that the Volt continues to draw consumers from other car companies.
The Volt has also garnered the 2014 Top Safety Pick+ classification from the Insurance for Highway Safety for models that were equipped with the Forward Collision Alert System.
Pricing for the 2016 Chevrolet Volt are not yet released by the company.
