The rear of the 2016 CR-Z is fitted with a reshaped bumper while the taillights are unchanged.
Inside, the 2016 CR-Z gets minor design changes. Of note, it now has a push button ignition, an electronic parking brake, an armrest, an upgraded audio system and a 7-inch touchscreen.
Under the hood, the 2016 CR-Z is powered by a hybrid powertrain that uses a 1.5-liter SOHC engine with Integrated Motor Assist (IMA). It is combined with a 144-volt Lithium-Ion battery that produces a combined peak output of 132 PS and 190 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual or continuously variable transmission (CVT).
The official pricing and the exact launch date of the 2016 CR-Z are yet to be confirmed by HCPI.
