Porsche has released the official "spyshots" of the updated (Type 991) 911 prototype ahead of its global debut at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
Dubbed as 991.2 by Porsche, the vehicle gets a minor makeover as seen on the hood, headlights, restyled air intakes and a larger bumper.
Compared to the previous model, the rear of the 2016 Porsche 911 is fitted with a redesigned bumper, tweaked taillights, a refreshed engine vent and new exhaust tips.
Inside, the 2016 Porsche 911 features a 918 Spyder-inspired steering wheel which has a driving mode selector. Other than that, the cabin appears to be the same as compared to the previous 911 model.
Porsche has yet to release the vehicle's official technical specifications.
