Honda Philippines gives the Civic 1.8 E tech, appearance package upgrade
The Civic 1.8 E is now available with Modulo accessories along with a navigation system after Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) recently released the Limited Edition variant of the C-segment contender.
Equipped as standard on the Limited Edition are select Modulo components. These include a deck lid spoiler and doors visors that give the four-door a sportier finish. Also making its way in the Limited Edition is a Modulo trunk tray for improved cargo functionality. Like standard models of the 1.8 E, the Limited Edition rolls on 16-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 215/55 tires.
As previously mentioned, the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system now comes with audio-visual navigation. Originally reserved for the top-spec RS, this new addition comes as standard in new Civic variant. Other in-car features included in the Civic 1.8 E Navi Limited Edition are Bluetooth, HDMI support, USB and AM/FM radio.
Propelling this particular Civic is the 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that is mated to an Earth Dreams developed cotinuously variable transmission (CVT). It puts out 141 PS at 6500 rpm and 174 Nm of torque at 4300 rpm.
The 2017 Honda Civic 1.8 E Navi Limited Edition is now available at all authorized Honda dealerships. Available colors for the new Civic variant are the following: Brilliant Sporty Blue Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl and White Orchid Pearl (+ PhP 20,000).
