Hyundai's midsize luxury sedan will soon be all-new for 2017. As a way to give the public an idea of what it will eventually look like, Hyundai recently released several design renderings of the next-generation Azera.
Based from the sketches, the 2017 Azera (also called Grandeur) gets a sleeker, more futuristic look. According to Hyundai, the upcoming luxury sedan's new look represents the brand's departure from their previous design philosophy. However, the new Azera still gets familiar styling cues from the outgoing model to preserve its heritage.
Up front, Hyundai said the 2017 Azera gets the new 'cascading grill' which represents one of the many premium styling features. It is then flanked by edgier headlights, along with a new front bumper. Over to the side, the Azera now gets a more coupe-like profile, distinct character lines and overly-large alloy wheels. At the rear, the broad shoulder lines highlight the car's coupe-inspired look while the taillights have been slightly reworked.
It is expected to make its official debut sometime around next month.
