Auto enthusiasts and adrenaline-junkies rejoice as the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2017 is set to open its doors for another fun-filled affair beginning on March 30 until April 2, 2017.

This year’s theme is ‘Beyond Performance’ and the event certainly ups the ante by bringing in the old favorites and adding several new events to make it more exciting than ever for all attendees.

Russ Swift stunt show

Renowned precision driver, Russ Swift, returns with stunt performances that always gets the crowd going. Vehicle launches, OEM, performance and aftermarket products and services will also be showcased all throughout the four-day event. 

For people in the market for a new vehicle, test drives will be made available, from sedans, SUVs and even trucks pushed to the limit on a 4x4 obstacle course.

Tuning and restoration fans will get to see tuner cars and highly collectible vintage and classic cars as they compete for ‘Best of Show’ in the Petron-MIAS Custom Classic Car Competition, car club displays, a miniature die-cast car collection display, a monster truck display and an exotic and rare supercar showcase.

Honda Civic Type R

New model launches expected at the show will be the: 2017 Chevrolet Spark; 2018 Honda Civic Type-R; 2017 Mazda CX-5, MX-5 RF; 2017 Subaru Impreza; 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan and 2017 Volvo V90.

Dodge Hellcat

Other vehicle highlights are the: Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, updated Foton Gratour Midi, Jeep Wrangler 80th anniversary Mopar edition.
