39th Bangkok International Motor Show to feature over 40 car and motorcycle manufacturers
Grand Prix International PLC recently announced that the upcoming 39th Bangkok International Motor Show is slated for March 28 to April 8, 2018 and will be held at Challenger Halls 1-3 at the Impact Muang Thong Thani in Thailand. This year's theme is “Revolution in Motion” which aims to show the innovations that has occurred in vehicles for the past 130 years, and how they have played an important roles in our daily lives.
Over 30 car companies are expected to be present at the upcoming motor show. Manufacturers from Japan, Europe and the United States will all be displaying new and upcoming vehicles. Together with the cars, 15 motorcycle manufacturers will also be showcasing their latest lineup. For the first time as well, parts and accessories entrepreneurs from China will be joining them in the show.
Aside from the upcoming vehicles, the motor show will also feature concept cars from various manufacturers. This goes in line with one of the event's highlights which focuses on electric vehicles and their place in the automotive world, not just as a personal automobile but also in other aspects.
After last year's success, the organizers expect the show to be bigger compared to the previous show. It is expected that more than 1.6 million visitors will attend the show during its 12-day long run.
“The 39th Bangkok International Motor Show offers a great opportunity for Thai people to closely experience and learn the cutting edge technology of the automotive world. I hope the show can inspire young people so that they can come up with a new idea, which might be developed further into a brand new innovation that help promote the sustainable growth of Thai automotive industry in the future,” said Organizing Committee Chairman Dr. Prachin Eamlumnow.
