Isuzu Philippines serves up 4x4 extravaganza at 2018 4x4 Xtreme Xperience
Cebuanos were recently treated to a 4x4 extravaganza by Isuzu Philippines Corporation. Held at the North Wing parking lot of SM City Cebu from Aug 10 - 12, the weekend event showcased the 2018 D-Max’s go-anywhere capability and practicality.
Made possible by IPC along with Isuzu Cebu Inc. (ICI), the 2018 4x4 Xtreme Xperience allowed locals to see how the D-Max took on a steep challenge, climbing a custom-built ‘action ramp’. Thanks to Isuzu’s expertise in turbo-diesel and 4WD technology, the 3.0-liter, 177 PS and 380 Nm BluePower D-Max was able to climb up and down the 4x4 Xtreme Xperience Action Ramp with ease. Event goers got to experience the power and prowess of the pickup firsthand.
Numerous games, as well as special activities were also lined up during the course of the three-day event. These included drift karting, photobooths, kids’ activities, all-terrain and accessories display, My Isuzu Dream Car corner and car club meet-ups.
Besides that, Isuzu also displayed the RZ4E BluePower models of both the D-Max and mu-X. It’s powered by a 1.9-liter turbo-diesel engine that generates 150 PS with 350 Nm of torque. It’s only available as a 4x2 model but can be mated to either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic.
Aside from demonstrating the 3.0L and RZ4E BluePower D-Max and mu-Xs, Isuzu also offered exclusive promos and discounts during the three-day event.
Capping off the third and final day of the Isuzu 4x4 Xtreme Xperience included a special guest appearance by IPC brand ambassador Maja Salvador. Serving as the culmination of the three-day event is the reveal of ICI’s 20th anniversary logo alongside a rocking performance of Cebu’s own Urbandub.
Ilonggos can look forward in experiencing the same excitement and fun when Isuzu brings the 4x4 Xtreme Xperience to Iloilo on September 21 to 23, 2018.
