After the recent launch of the updated 2018 Maserati GranTurismo in New York, the Italian luxury marque just unveiled it's topless sibling – the 2018 GranCabrio or GranTurismo convertible in some markets. The venue for the GranCabrio's unveiling was at the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Displayed alongside the GranCabrio was a lineup of classic Maserati vehicles and the 2018 GranTurismo.
It receives a new hexagonal shaped grill, inspired by the Alfieri concept. The intake vents are now more traditionally styled unlike in the previous model, which featured a sweeping design. Futhermore, the rear bumper has also been given an update to match the new front fascia.
Moving inside, there's a new 8.4-inch infotainment system which supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. There is also a redesigned center console with a new rotary controller which features different drive modes. Meanwhile, the rest of the interior remains mostly similar to the previous model.
Powering the 2018 GranCabrio is the same 460PS Ferrari-built 4.7-liter V8 found on the GranTurismo. The GranCabrio will be offered in both Sport and MC models, each having dystinct styling to distinguish the two.
Both the 2018 Maserati GranCarbio and GranTurismo are now on sale. Those who order a 2018 GranTurismo at the Goodwood Festival of Speed will even receive a Maserati Exclusive Edition watch from Bulgari.
