Mitsubishi will be unveiling a special edition pickup at this year's Thailand International Motor Expo. Dubbed the Triton (Strada) Athlete, the pickup gets a host of exterior and interior upgrades which includes blacked-out elements and unique cabin finishes.
Immediately apparent on the Triton Athlete are the black-painted honeycomb front grill and foglight bezels. The front bumper also gets a black insert which gives the the pickup a more aggressive fascia. Beyond that, more blacked-out elements are used on the Triton Athlete and includes the wheel arches, side steps, rear bumper, sports bar, door handles, 17-inch alloy wheels and side mirror caps.
Also, giving the pickup more flair comes courtesy of black-orange stripes that can be seen throughout the Triton Athlete.
Climb aboard the pickup and the cabin greets you with an orange and black interior. All of the seats are upholstered in leather and come with a two-tone finish. Orange contrast stitching was also used which gives the pickup a more youthful vibe. Special edition Athlete floor mats also come as standard on the new Triton variant. Meanwhile, the air-con vents, center console panels and steering wheel receive faux metal trim finishes.
Other new additions present in the Triton Athlete include: 8-way power adjustable driver's seat and a new touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
