Subaru gives a glimpse of the all-new XV crossover
This year's Geneva International Motor Show will see Subaru arrive with the 2018 XV. Recently, the automaker launched a dedicated website that features the silhouette of the upcoming crossover, along with a countdown timer before its eventual debut.
Based on the teaser image provided, the next-gen XV bears an evolutionary design but now comes with styling cues from the all-new Impreza, particularly the five-door hatchback. The front fascia appears to get new headlights while the rear section may be fitted with a new set of taillights.
Flowing character lines are also seen on the new XV, as well as what appears to be new five-spoke alloy wheels.
As the next-gen XV will be based off the all-new Impreza, the upcoming crossover will also be using the Subaru Global Platform that will deliver better driving dynamics and improved Noise, Vibration and Harshness deadening (NVH).
Powertrain options are expected to be derived from the all-new Impreza.
In our previous report, MotorImage boss Glenn Tan confirmed to us that the 2018 XV will be arriving in the Philippines by third quarter of this year.
Subaru will be debuting the all-new XV on March 7, 2017 in Geneva, Switzerland.
