After introducing the Fiery Red limited edition of the Terra last month, Nissan Philippines has now revealed a special edition model of the Navara called the N-Warrior. If the name sounds familiar, that's because back in the 2018 Philippine International Motor Show, Nissan debuted the extreme-looking Navara Warrior X, which unfortunately didn’t make it to dealerships despite being well received by the public.
While it may not look as rugged as the Warrior X, the Navara N-Warrior does get a host of new exterior and interior parts to help spice up its design. For starters, there's a new over rider and skid plate which have been fitted to the Navara’s front end. At the back, the N-Warrior is equipped with a sports roll bar and a bed liner. New 18-inch wheels and an all gloss black exterior trim with orange accents complete the exterior makeover. Other optional extras include cross bars and a roof basket as well.
Step inside, there are new black leather seats with orange stitching. New carbon fiber accents line the interior as well and can also be seen on the infotainment panel. Standard on the N-Warrior is the Nissan Intelligent Mobility system which includes their Around View Monitor, giving you a virtual bird’s eye view of the surroundings.
No changes were made to the Navara N-Warrior’s engine and it still continues to use the same turbocharged 2.5-liter diesel unit found on the standard Navara units. That said, the souped-up pickup continues to produce 163 PS and 403 Nm torque for the EL variant, and 190 PS and 450 Nm torque for the VL variant. Only the VL model is fitted with 4x4.
As mentioned above, the Navara N-Warrior is available in both VL or EL variants. The Navara N-Warrior is only being offered in Alpine White or Brilliant Silver.
