It looks like the B-segment scene will be a hotly-contested segment once more. With brands such as Honda and Toyota, recently introducing refreshed models of the City and Vios, Suzuki may be poised to reveal the refreshed Ciaz soon.
It won't be long now it seems as images of what appears to be the updated sedan were recently posted on the web.
If the pictures are to be believed, the 2019 Suzuki Ciaz will get a fresh face. Starting with the most obvious, the Ciaz appears to have received a Euro-inspried front fascia. The headlights take on a more strking look while the grill and front bumper carry a sportier design.
Other changes that could be seen on the updated Ciaz is a new set of alloy wheels. The rear, on the other hand, relatively looks the same as before. From the taillights, to the trunklid and rear bumper, it looks like Suzuki wanted to keep design on the back as is.
Besides the exterior, Suzuki was also busy tweaking the interior of the Ciaz. On top-spec models, faux wood trim, along with a two-tone 'greige' interior will spruce up the cabin. Also, the steering wheel gets an updated set of buttons while the instrument panel received minor design changes.
The 1.4-liter K14B four-cylinder engine is expected to carry-over in the upcoming facelift. However, there is no word yet if it will receive a moderate boost in power. But there are rumors going around that the refreshed Ciaz will be getting a bigger 1.5-liter engine. Transmission options for the Ciaz may also likely remain the same; a five-speed manual and four-speed automatic.
The 2019 Suzuki Ciaz is expected to make its official debut some time in India next month.
