It was back in November of last year when Chery officially marked its return to the Philippines. Now under the leadership of United Asia Automotive Group Inc (UAAGI), Chery Auto Philippines is now serving up a bevy of crossovers for its Philippine comeback. These included the Tiggo2, the Tiggo5x, the Tiggo 7, and the flagship Tiggo8.

Recently, the flagship crossover was voted as the 'Best Entry-Level Medium-Large SUV in Customer Satisfaction'. Based on the results released by the China Automotive Technology and Research Center Co. Limited (CATARC), the midsize seven-seater Tiggo8 was given the accolade for its outstanding performance, build quality, and customer service.

The Tiggo8 was ranked among the top three on the entry-level medium and large SUV satisfaction list with a high score of 795 points – which Chery claims is above average in industrial satisfaction. This translates that customers expressed high recognition of the Tiggo8's product performance, sales service, after-sales service, as well as in overall engineering and specification.

For Chery, customer satisfaction is the highest recognition brands can look forward to. As Chinese automobiles continue to expand globally, building quality vehicles with high-tech features and amenities will play an important role than ever. With the Tiggo8's recent achievement, this will help Chery further grow into its deep focus of delivering customer satisfaction.

Locally, all of the Tiggo models Chery Auto Philippines has on offer are covered by a 5-year/150,000 km warranty, a free full preventive maintenance service (PMS) for 3 years, along with a 10-year/1 million kilometer warranty on the engine, whichever comes first. The Tiggo8 is available in two variants and is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that pushes out 145 PS and 210 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

As it is the flagship model, the Tiggo8 comes with a plethora of amenities and features that include: a 360-degree panoramic view camera, power-adjustable seats, automatic LED headlights, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, front and rear parking sensors, as well as a host of airbags.

The 2020 Chery Tiggo8 price ranges from PhP 1,280,000 to PhP 1,340,000 and is available for viewing at dealerships or via the newly-launched Chery Auto PH app.
