Last week, we were able to get a peek at Geely's latest crossover that will be launched in the country soon. Called the Azkarra, the new five-seat crossover is larger than the Coolray and is set to go up against the likes of the Honda CR-V, Hyundai Tucson, Subaru Forester, as well as the Toyota RAV4.

But just how much will the Azkarra cost once it's officially launched in the Philippines? Wonder no more as the automaker recently released the official pricing of the turbocharged, mild hybrid crossover. There will be a total of two variants available for the Geely Azkarra. The first one is the 4x2 Premium which will retail for PhP 1,438,000. Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line Luxury variant which comes with the brand's 48V EMS (Electric Motor Synergy) system will have a sticker price of PhP 1,598,000.

Comparing its price against its nearest competitors, the Geely Azkarra was able to undercut (most) of its contemporaries. The CR-V starts at PhP 1,668,000 and ends at PhP 2,138,000 while the Tucson's price range spans from PhP 1,368,000 all the way to PhP 1,885,000. The Forester, meanwhile, ranges from PhP 1,648,000 all the way to PhP 2,120,000. Finally, the Toyota RAV4's price range begins at PhP 1,771,000 and ends at PhP 2,244,000.

Exact specifications have yet to be revealed, but Geely did mention that it is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine and is available with the previously mentioned mild hybrid system. Other available features on the upcoming crossover are all-wheel drive, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment, wireless phone charging and many more.

Curious to see the Geely Azkarra for yourself? It's currently on display at Uptown BGC until March 15. It will then be on display next in Trinoma at the Cinema Lobby from March 16 to March 31. It will also be available for viewing at the SM Mall of Asia Main Mall from March 19 to April 1.
