After its official launch in Manila last August, it's Visayas' turn to get their hands on the new Isuzu D-Max LS-A.
Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) recently held the Visayas region launch of their latest pickup model at the Mountain Wing Atrium of the SM Seaside in Cebu City. Visitors also got the chance to get up close and even test drive the new pickup at IPC's Tough Enough event at the open parking grounds of the mall.
As the name implies, the Tough Enough event demonstrated the capabilities of the 4x4 pickup through numerous rough terrain. IPC says it highlights the pickup's “complete package of features that cater to the modern Filipino lifestyle -- the lifestyle that maximizes the best qualities of the urban professional and the weekend adventurer.”
“The D-MAX LS-A represents nearly a century of Isuzu’s experience and innovation in the design, engineering, and workmanship of diesel-powered utility vehicles. The D-MAX LS-A is infused, as well, with features that address the demands of a market that value both hard work and play, business with leisure,” said IPC president, Hajime Koso.
The D-Max LS-A offered in the Visayas is the same as the one offered in Manila. Distinct styling features of the LS-A include a dark gray front grill and bumper, side step board and rocker panels, cargo extender, and roof rails. It is available in the following colors: Cosmic Black, Sapphire Blue, Titanium Silver, Red Spinel, Splash White, Silky Pearl White. Power comes via 3.0-liter four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine with BluePower. It churns out 177 PS along with 380 Nm of torque.
