Ford can't seem to make enough special editions of their popular pick-up truck, the Ranger. From the Tremor, Thunder, FX4, and FX4 Max, the Blue Oval has several models to offer customers. And now, the automaker has revealed another variant of the Ranger Raptor.

It's called the Ranger Raptor Special Edition, and it has some neat aesthetic upgrades over the standard model. Starting with its exterior, it gets racing stripes finished in matte black with red contrast lines. These are found on the hood, roof, doors, rear wings, and tailgate.

Apart from the unique decals, Ford also applied a matte black finish on the wheel arches, front and rear bumpers, door handles, and front grille. Last but not least, the front tow how hooks are painted red to contrast with the rest of the body.

To go with the special exterior upgrades, a total of three exterior colors are available for the Ranger Raptor Special Edition. These are Conquer Gray, Frozen White, and Performance Blue (as seen here).

Ford also made changes inside the Ranger Raptor Special Edition by applying some red contrast stitching throughout the cabin. The sporty red accent gives the pick-up a more youthful vibe. Other exclusive extras available on the pick-up include unique leather upholstery and a Special Edition-only Raceway Gray instrument panel.

Under the hood, a 2.0-liter bi-turbo EcoBlue diesel engine powers the Ranger Raptor Special Edition. No tweaks here as the twin-turbo diesel inline-four continues to make 213 PS and 500 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to a 10-speed automatic transmission with 4WD.

The 2021 Ford Ranger Raptor Special Edition is now on sale in Europe. There is no word how many Ford will make, but it's a limited-run model. But could other markets like the Philippines get their hands on it? We already have the FX4 and FX4 Max here locally, so this is a good indication that the race-inspired Special Edition may arrive here.

Assuming Ford Philippines does plan on bringing it here, we wouldn't mind getting a Performance Blue Ranger Raptor Special Edition.
