Jaguar PH launches updated 2022 XF sedan
Last year, Jaguar gave most of the vehicles in its lineup a minor makeover to keep them up to date. One of those is the XF mid-size sedan. Barely a year since its global debut, and Jaguar Philippines has now launched the refreshed 2021 XF.
Before all that, let's take a better look at the update. At first glance, it looks like Jaguar didn't do much to update the XF for the new decade. A closer look, however, reveals the new bumper with larger, rounded intakes. It's a bit hard to tell, but Jaguar also updated the headlight cluster.
The grille also stands more upright compared to the outgoing model. At the rear, the changes are even more subtle. The only visual difference is the addition of a diffuser. Despite the minor update, it's enough to give the XF a more mature look over the pre-facelift model.
Inside, the changes include the addition of new larger digital displays. Situated in front of the driver is a large 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, which is fully configurable. Meanwhile, there's a new 11.4-inch HD touchscreen, which controls the new Pivi Pro infotainment system. According to Jaguar, it's 48% larger than the previous unit and easier to use, thanks to a simplified menu structure. The infotainment system is paired with an updated Meridian sound system with 12 speaks and 1 subwoofer.
In the safety department, the 2021 XF now comes with a full 3D surround camera system. The system makes it easier for drivers to maneuver and park in tight spaces. There's also a heads-up display, providing drivers the information they need without any distraction.
Powering the 2021 XF is Jaguar's 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 producing 250 PS and 365 Nm torque. It's paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox with the power being sent to the rear wheels.
The 2021 Jaguar XF 2.0 S is now on sale and starts at PHP 4,590,000. Customers can also spec the XF to their liking by visiting https://www.jaguar.ph/jaguar-range-xf.
