A few days ago, Chevrolet distributor The Covenant Car Company Inc (TCCCI) announced that the Trailblazer name will be making a comeback.
Unlike its predecessor which was a 7-seater SUV, the all-new model will be a 5-seater crossover. It will be sourced from South Korea and will be powered by a turbocharged gasoline engine. But other than that, there are still no details regarding its features and variants.
That all changes today after TCCCI revealed more details about the upcoming crossover.
Set to be revealed on October 24, the 2022 Trailblazer will serve as the bow-tie brand's compact crossover in the Philippines. It will be powered by a 1.3-liter turbocharged engine that will be mated to a CVT. Chevy did not reveal output figures, but our best guess is that it will be similar to what South Korea has.
When it comes to amenities, the Trailblazer will come with an 8-inch MyLink touchscreen infotainment system. It will come with connectivity features like Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto as standard. Other key highlights that will be available include enhanced stability control and advanced driver assistance systems.
Prices have yet to be revealed for the 2022 Trailblazer. However, they did say that it will be available in two variants; LT and Premier.
The full specifications and prices of the Chevy Trailblazer LT and Premier will be revealed on October 24, 2021.
