GAC Motor to reveal all-new GS4 on December 10, 2021

Earlier this August, GAC distributor Legado Motors Inc (LMI) announced they will be revealing several new models before the year ends. One of those models is the GN8 Master's Edition which was revealed over a month ago.

Also set to be launched is the GS8 Bulletproof. However, there appear to be no new updates regarding the bulletproof flagship SUV. So what's left for GAC to reveal before we bid farewell to 2021?

Come December 10, GAC Motor will be launching the all-new GS4 for the Philippine market. First revealed in China last year, the compact crossover gets an all-new look from front to back. It now has a new face that resembles the GA4, and a sleeker-looking dashboard.

Like the outgoing model, the 2022 GS4 will most likely continue using a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four. But unlike the current offering which makes 151 PS with 235 Nm of torque, the new GS4 packs 169 PS with 265 Nm. This translates to an increase of 18 PS and 30 more Nm of pulling torque.

GAC has yet to announce its suggested retail price. An insider, however, told us that the all-new crossover could start at around PHP 1.1 million. With the current model priced at PHP 1,168,000, we can expect the latest GS4 to be more affordable than its predecessor.

With only two weeks to go before GAC officially reveals the 2022 GS4, we're hoping that it will still come with plenty of features despite being reportedly cheaper than the previous generation.
