2026 Toyota Urban Cruiser EV launches in PH next month
Upcoming Toyota Urban Cruiser EV set to make PH debut this March
Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) will be busy this coming March.
The leading automaker in the country already announced it will be launching the all-new 2026 RAV4 HEV next month, which will start at PHP 2.183 million. But that's not the only vehicle TMP will be revealing this March.

Also set to make its Philippine debut soon is the Toyota Urban Cruiser EV. Previewed last month as part of Toyota's new vehicle launches for 2026, the Urban Cruiser EV will serve as the automaker's stepping-stone into the EV market and will slot below the much larger bZ4X.
The official specifications have yet to be revealed by TMP. However, the Department of Energy (DOE) has already recognized the Urban Cruiser as an electric vehicle and may have similar specifications as its twin, the Suzuki e Vitara, which is also slated to arrive in the country soon.

According to the DOE's listing, the Urban Cruiser will be powered by a single electric motor that produces 128 kW or 174 PS, along with 193 Nm of torque. It will also have a 61 kWh battery pack, which translates to a range of up to 426 km on a single charge. Size-wise, the Urban Cruiser will reportedly measure 4285mm long, 1800mm wide, and 1635mm tall.
For now, TMP has announced that interested customers can visit their nearest dealerships to learn more about the Urban Cruiser EV. We're keeping our fingers crossed that Toyota PH launches both the all-new RAV4 HEV and the Urban Cruiser EV at the same time next month.
