The 35th edition of the annually held Thailand International Motor Expo will once again open its doors this coming November 29, and will be held at the Impact Challenger in Muang Thong Thani, Thailand. This year, the Motor Expo runs the theme of “Enjoy Driving! Before Driverless Era” highlighting the debut of new models along with concept cars.

For 2018, Kwanchai Paphatphong, organizing chairman of the 35th Thailand International Motor Expo, has revealed that 36 different manufacturers from all over the world will be displaying their line up of vehicles at the upcoming event. There will also be 23 motorcycle companies displaying their latest line up.

Those going to the event can actually book and purchase brand new vehicles right then and there at the expo. Organizers will also be giving away brand new vehicles and other prizes to lucky showgoers as part of the expo's promo. The promos include 'Buy a Car Win a Car', 'Buy a Ticket Win a Car', 'Buy a Motorbike Win a Big Bike', 'Win a Prize New Gen Style', 'Buy Merchandise to Win a Prize', and 'Scan to Win … More Scans Better Chance.' Prizes include a brand new Volvo V40 T4, an MG 3 Hatchback, a Yamaha YZF-R6, and a Mitsubishi Mirage GLX.

Other activities include 'Skill Driving Experience Junior' which aims to provide road safety awareness training for children aged 4-8 years old; with a chance of winnig a brand new child car seat. Vistors can also experience new car features at the Autonomous Test Drive Area and the 'Skill Driving Experience'. The 'Spirit of the 4x4 Driving School' meanwhile welcomes 4x4 enthusiasts from all over the globe. Makers of tuner kits and spare parts will also be there for the enthusiasts.

Kwanchai Paphatphong expects bookings to reach 45,000 units for cars and 8,000 units for motorcycles. It is also expected that 1.5 million visitors will be going to the expo and generate over 55 million Baht in purchases. This would then push Thailand's vehicle sales in 2018 to above 1 million units.
