Alfa Romeo Automobiles S.p.A recently launched the Stelvio First Edition, which according to the company will be a limited edition variant. The First Edition is the second model officially revealed by Alfa Romeo after the Quadrifoglio model that debuted during the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show.
Starting with the exterior, the First Edition features the same base design. The front fascia is equipped with the brand's signature grill along with sharp headlights. It also gets a chrome window, privacy glass and door handle courtesy lights. The Stelvio First Edition rides on a 20-inch alloy wheels.
In addition, front and rear parking sensors, rear camera with dynamic guidelines, automatic high beam and a powered tailgate come as standard.
Inside, the Stelvio gets some similar components from the Giulia such as a driver-oriented dashboard, three-spoke flat-bottomed steering wheel, integrated engine start button and a flush-mounted center display. The First Edition also features aluminum paddle shifters, electrically-adjustable seats, real wood inserts, a 7-inch TFT LCD multi-information display and an 8.8 inch center display connected to the navigation system.
Under the hood, it is be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four producing 284 PS at 5250 rpm and 400 Nm of torque at 2250 rpm. It is then mated with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission to Alfa's Q4 all-wheel drive.
Safety features include the following: lane departure warning (LDW), forward collision warning (FCW), an electromechanical integrated braking system (IBS) and autonomous emergency braking (AEB).
