An Aston Martin that is completely powered by electricity may soon be available in the market after the British automaker unveiled the RapidE concept.

Based off the Rapide S, the four-door electric grand tourer was made possible with Williams Advanced Engineering, the technological division of the renowned Formula One racing team and constructor.

Compared to the standard Rapide S, the RapidE concept has blue accents that are present on the car's hood, roof, doors and badging. Aesthetically, the car retains the shape and exterior design of the original four-door.

Details about the concept's powertrain remain a mystery but Aston Martin CEO Dr. Andy Palmer did state during the 2015 Concours d'Elegance, that the production version will be able to produce 800 PS and will be an AWD sports car.
