Tata Motors has launched the all-new Aria in New Delhi, India.
The automaker says the vehicle offers space and comfort that includes new equipment, along with a new engine.
The exterior of the vehicle is fitted with a double black bezel headlamps and a clear-lens tail lamps. It is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels and body-colored rub rails with chrome inserts. The vehicle’s frame is constructed with advanced hydroformed materials, enhancing rigidity while reducing weight.
Inside, it has plush leather seats with beige fabric upholstery and door trims. The all-new Aria also has a height-adjustable driver’s seat and a tilt-adjustable, leather-wrapped steering wheel. The second row seats of the vehicle can be adjusted to increase legroom. Both the second and third rows can be collapsed to add more luggage space.
It also features an in-dash navigation system, power-retractable side view mirrors and an ultra reverse guide system. Furthermore, the essential drive data are projected in the driver information display.
The new Aria also comes with a torque-on-demand, Adapterra four-wheel-drive system that automatically supplies torque for various terrain conditions.
The electronic stability program (ESP) automatically applies braking force to a certain wheel to stabilize the vehicle. Along with the ESP, the Aria also comes with a traction control system that maintains vehicle stability during sudden acceleration.
A first in India, Tata Motors says the audio system of the Aria is exclusively tailored by JBL from HARMAN Premium Sound System. It has four mid-range speakers, four tweeters, one center speaker and one sub-woofer.
The Aria is powered by a new 2.2-liter VARICOR diesel engine that can deliver an output of 150 PS with 320 Nm of torque.
