New Alphard debuts with more features, unique logo

Looking for something that offers unrivalled comfort and luxury for the price?

Toyota Motor Philippines has just launched the updated 2018 Alphard, featuring redefined styling and upgraded standard equipment.

The Alphard is a premium MPV from Toyota that has been in the Philippine market since 2010, quickly becoming a vehicle of choice as an executive transport or as a luxury family van.

The most striking difference in the new Alphard is the presence of a new front end with a prominent new grill. Also unique with the new Alphard is a bespoke logo for the model to set it apart from the rest of the Toyota line up; the unusual front logo follows the same tradition as great Toyota models like the Soarer (gryphon) and the MR-2 (eagle). New exterior features include sequential front and rear signal lamps, among others.

The 7-seater cabin features two captain's seats with ottoman leg rests, a power ottoman for the front passenger, a three-zone automatic climate control system, power sliding doors, a motorized tailgate, and many more. An 8-speaker 2-DIN audio system is standard with DVD playback. For safety, the 2018 Alphard comes with ABS, Vehicle Stability Control, Hill Start Assist, and seven airbags.

Powering the new Alphard is the same 3.5-liter V6 as before, but it now comes with a new 8-speed automatic gearbox instead of the previous 6-speed. The new Alphard also gets an auto start/stop system to improve fuel economy in traffic.

The 2018 Toyota Alphard will soon be available at Toyota dealers nationwide in Black, Steel Blonde Metallic, and Luxury White Pearl. Pricing comes in at Php 3,580,000.00 except for White Pearl which is pegged at Php 3,595,000.00
