Arctic Trucks are known for building some of the most rugged off-roaders on the planet. From the Toyota Hilux to the Nissan Navara, Arctic Trucks has built it all. Now, the pick-up professionals have gotten their hands on the refreshed Isuzu D-Max, turning it into a even more capable off-roader.

Officially called the D-Max Artcic Trucks AT35, it is based on the Isuzu's popular pickup truck sold all around the globe. However, Arctic Trucks did add a host of new equipment to help it take on any terrain, especially the frozen tundras of Northern Europe. For starters, there are new 35-inch Nokian Rotiiva A/T Tires which are fitted on 17-inch black alloy wheels. To give it better ground clearance as well as better off-road capability, Fox Performance Suspension were fitted.

In order to fit the larger, chunky tires, a set of flared wheel arch extensions were fitted. There are also extended side steps to help occupants enter and exit the truck. Arctic Trucks special badgings all around help distinguish it from just any other off-road setup D-Max. The new D-Max AT35 is finished in three different color schemes: Spinel Red, Sapphire Blue and (special order) Galena Grey.

Inside, the interior has been enhanced and is now upholstered in leather with refreshed seat trim and soft pad design arm rests. Most of the interior trim has now been finished in gloss black including the window switches, air vents and glove box. It was also fitted with a special 7-inch multifunction infotainment system which comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Standard on the D-Max Arctic Truck AT35 is Trailer Sway Control which uses sensors to detect trailer swing and reduce vehicle speed automatically once sway is detected. Despite the extreme off-road setup, no modifications were made to the D-Max's engine. It still continues to produce 164 PS and 360 Nm of torque. Towing capability is still retained at 3.5 tonnes.
