We're a few weeks away from the launch of the all-new Isuzu D-Max. At the moment, Isuzu Philippines isn't revealing much about the next-generation pick-up, and there isn't much info about its pricing or variants. But that changes today.
It seems that pricing for the next-gen D-Max leaked out, along with the variants that will be offered here. But before we get into it, do note that these prices might not be final and may not reflect the adjustments following the safeguard tariffs. After all, the D-Max is subject to the bond since it is sourced from Thailand.
So without further ado, these are the variants and prices of the redesigned Philippine-spec Isuzu D-Max.
The range starts with the single-cab body of the pick-up, followed by the 4x2 LT RZ4E M/T with the dual-cab (four-door) version. Interestingly, the 4x4 LT dual-cab isn't saddled by the 1.9-liter turbodiesel. Instead, this workhorse-spec four-wheel-drive comes standard with the 3.0-liter engine. It isn't known if it has the updated 190 PS version, but it's a welcome change nonetheless.
Moving on to the mid-spec LS trims, there are three versions available. There's the LS RZ4E M/T, LS RZ4E A/T, LS 3.0 4x2 M/T, and LS 3.0 4x4 M/T. The 3.0-liter is likely to have an upgraded unit that now packs 190 PS and 450 Nm of torque. If you want a 4x2 D-Max with the 3.0-liter turbodiesel with an automatic transmission, you'll have to go for the LS-A 3.0 4x2.
Last but not least is the top of the line D-Max. It's a new variant dubbed the LS-E 3.0 4x4, and it might effectively replace the LS-A 3.0 4x4 A/T from the outgoing model. It's also likely that it serves as the local version of the V-Cross edition offered in Thailand.
And now, the moment you've been waiting for, the prices:
D-Max RZ4E Single-Cab M/T: PHP 857,000
D-Max LT RZ4E 4x2 M/T: PHP 987,000
D-Max LT 3.0 4x4 M/T: PHP 1,288,000
D-Max LS RZ4E 4x2 M/T: PHP 1,219,000
D-Max LS RZ4E 4x2 A/T: PHP 1,309,000
D-Max LS 3.0 4x2 M/T: PHP 1,320,000
D-Max LS 3.0 4x4 M/T: PHP 1,630,000
D-Max LS-A 3.0 4x2 A/T: PHP 1,390,000
D-Max LS-E 3.0 4x4 A/T: PHP 1,825,000
Again, these prices might not be final and subject to change before the launch.
