Nope, that's not a car from the Dark Knight's garage, but judging by the way it looks, it should be.
Aspid Cars, a small Spanish sportscar manufacturer has just revealed their latest model: the GT-21 Invictus. The new sports car is -in typical Aspid fashion- has an open-wheel design in the front; the first open wheel 2+2 grand tourer in history.
Ultra light (it weighs just 965 kilograms) and aggressively designed, the Aspid GT-21 comes with the power of 450 horses from a 4.4 liter V8 motor. The engine is matched with either a 7-speed dual clutch automatic or a 6-speed manual. The suspension system is set up to handle the power and provide sharp handling with aluminum double wishbones in front with a pushrod suspension arrangement in the back.
Claimed acceleration figures put the GT-21 Invictus in supercar territory, able to do a 0-100 km/h sprint in under 3 seconds and 200 km/h in 10.6 seconds. Top speed is quoted at 305 km/h.
Below is a CGI video of the new model on YouTube.
