Though still draped in camouflage, it gave us an early look of the what final design of the production model Vantage would look like. Furthermore, the lack of false panels indicated that it could be revealed soon. Now, Aston Martin has officially announced that the next-generation Vantage will debut on November 21.
The British marque revealed on Twitter that the much anticipate entry-level grand tourer will debut soon by releasing a teaser photo showing wolf eyes and a launch date. It is unknown what the wolf eyes represents but what is important is the date. Unfortunately they did not release any new photos of the Vantage.
Our spies have already seen the Vantage out and about undergoing tests, ensuring that the car works properly. It is said to be powered by a Mercedes-sourced 4.0-liter biturbo V8 which outputs around 500 PS. Expect it come with both a manual and a dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Design wise, the Vantage is said to have taken a lot of inspiration from the Aston Martin DB10 concept which debut in the James Bond movie. It is expect to have large headlights and a full length LED rear tail light.
With the scarcity of details, we will just have to wait and see what the final design of the next-gen Vantage will be.
