It won't be long now until Audi fully reveals their all-new flagship SUV. Nearly a month ago, we saw Audi tease what appeared to be the upcoming Q8. While not much was revealed, we did notice that the crossover shown almost had the same design cues as the soon-to-be-released Q8.
Now, the company has released the first sketch design of the upcoming Q8, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from the flagship SUV. While we only get to see the rear fascia, it's quite clear that the Q8 remained faithful to the original concept's design. It features an atheltic and muscular exterior that is matched with a sleek, low-slung profile, giving it a coupe-like finish. It also comes with angular taillights that are reminescent on the all-new A8 and A6 sedans.
Photos of the front fascia were not available, but our spies were able to take photos of a prototype Q8 back in September 2017. Looking beyond the camouflage, the Q8 will come with a slightly different Singleframe front grill and will have a sleeker set of headlights than the Q7.
Our spies also managed to get a photo of the Q8's unique interior and dashboard design. Like the original concept which was launched during the 2017 North American International Auto Show, the model seen here has almost zero physical buttons and comes with a digital touchscreen display for the infotainment and climate control systems.
Under the hood, the Q8 will most likely be powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged engine that will be helped along by an electric motor. It is expected to produce more than 400 PS and 700 Nm of torque.
The Audi Q8 could make its official debut some time in the coming weeks.
