Audi Philippines brings in the all-new 2020 A8
Looking for a Teutonic luxury limo? Check out that all-new Audi A8 at the Powerplant Mall this weekend

Audi has been on a roll lately. They've been releasing a slew of all-new and revamped models for the past 12 months from the compact A1, all the way to the Q7. And let's not forget the barrage of S and RS models too.
Now, those new models are coming in here. In fact, Audi just quietly launched the 2020 A8 flagship sedan here. Just in time too for the local screening of Spiderman: Far From Home. After all, the brand from Ingolstadt has been having their fair share of screen time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

But enough about the movie, let's talk about the A8, in this case, the extended wheelbase A8L. As expected in the ultra-luxury class, the all-new A8 is packed with technology. Packing a new infotainment system which measures in at a whopping 10.1 inches. Both vehicle settings and entertainment functions can be controlled via the screen, so if you want to change the feel of your car, all you have to do is dig in the menus.
There's also the Audi Virtual Cockpit which turns the instrument cluster into a multi-information display that also houses the navigation screen. Other neat features include active air suspension, a touch panel climate control system, and an array of driver assistance systems that constantly keep you out of harm's way.

Nestled under the lightweight aluminum hood is a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine. It's the only engine option for the Philippine-spec A8L, and it's gas only. The boosted six-cylinder engine puts out an impressive 340 PS and 500 Nm of torque. All-wheel drive is, of course, standard. Plus, the A8L comes with a mild hybrid system too, which should help curb fuel consumption.
Besides the A8, Audi also displayed the Q7. The biggest crossover from Audi has two engine options available, namely the 2.0 TFSI (gas) and 3.0 TDI (diesel). The entry-level 2.0 TFSI makes 252 PS while the top of the line variant, the 3.0 TDI has 272 PS. Both come standard with Quattro all-wheel drive.

Want to see them in the metal? They're on display at the Rockwell Powerplant Mall over the weekend. Perhaps after ogling at these new Audis, you could go check out Spiderman too. Spoiler alert: The Audi e-Tron GT makes a cameo appearance there.
