The Subaru WRX made its much-awaited global debut at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show today under the concept 'Pure Power in Your Control'. It features a re-engineered body and chassis to handle the powerful engine and reflect the WRX driving spirit.

To achieve the product concept, the body has been made lighter and more rigid, integrating extensive chassis reinforcements. Body and suspension stiffening and optimization of suspension geometry has resulted in quicker vehicle response to steering input and better cornering ability, while maintaining a flat, comfortable ride. The electric power steering was fitted with rigid mounts to give a more direct steering feel and improve efficiency.
