Round 2 saw fifty-seven competitors step up and take the wheel of GT5 Challenge virtual time-attack competition of the Manila Auto Salon at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City on a busy Friday. Sponsored by Lexus Manila, this round featured the IS-F sports sedan challenging the very technical Madrid City Circuit in Gran Turismo 5 on the Sony Playstation 3.

It was Jan Millad Lacuna who set a fastest lap of 1:38.404 during the early part of the day's competition and Joel Erickson Ursi's 1:38.765 laptime would hold on as second fastest. It was until about three-fourths of the competition where the times started to go down as Terrence Lallave shattered the 1 minute 38 second barrier with a blistering 1:36.706 laptime followed by an even faster 1:35.069 laptime to set the day's record. Gether Quintos tried to outlap Lallave, but only came up with a 1:37.998 laptime, which was good enough for second.

Top 5 times of the day will receive gift packs from Lexus Manila. First place winner Terrence Lallave receives a Mika Hakkinen autographed mousepad and a Gift Certificate from Remixx Clothing; second placer Gether Quintos and third placer Jan Millard Lacuna each receive an mousepad, and Gift Certificate from Remixx Clothing. Rio Halili and Kit Mistosamente get fourth and fifth places, respectively.

The Top-4 drivers will return on Sunday, for the final-16 showdown between the best drivers for each day at 6pm.
