The final round of the GT5 challenge saw a very competitive session with drivers and contestants from various backgrounds trying to set the quickest lap time to win exciting prizes.

The car for the day was the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG while the designated track was Tokyo R246. The sunday crowd of the Manila Auto Salon soon found themselves lining up to take the challenge, especially as the best time was set by pro race car and former Formula 3 driver Enzo Pastor at 1:53.989.

The SLS AMG proved to be a great car to take on the high speed Gran Turismo original track, giving many competitors a true challenge. For the duration of the day, the times set by Enzo Pastor was followed by Alvin Chan at 1:57.216 and Rayan Obando at 1:58.719. However, during the latter stages of the day, two competitors, young Patrick Alonzo and Shane Jaducana were able to break into the top 5 at 1:58.687 and 1:56.187 respectively.

Top 5 times of the day will receive gift packs from CATS Motors, the exclusive distributor of Mercedes-Benz vehicles in the Philippines. First place winner Enzo Pastor received a Mika Hakkinen autographed mousepad and a Gift Certificate from Remixx Clothing; second placer Shane Jaducana and third placer Alvin Chan each receive an mousepad, a Gift Certificate from Remixx Clothing. Patrick Alonzo and Rayan Obando get fourth and fifth places, respectively.

The top 4 challengers were called back to join the tournament that took place immediately after the qualifying round that evening.
