Last year, AutoIndustriya.com bagged four victories at the 18th Henry Ford Awards. This year, however, the online automotive publication was able to bring home five awards at the annual awards program recognizing the work of motoring media.

This year, Editor-In-Chief Vince Pornelos, Creative Director Kelvin Christian Go, and Contributors Eric Tipan and Jenna Genio were able to win in five different categories.

Winning the Best Automotive Industry Feature was Vince Pornelos' "Philippines: The Next Battleground for China’s Gargantuan Auto Industry?". His story delves deeper into how the Chinese auto industry is looking to expand and take a bigger slice of the automotive pie in the country. It also mentions how other non-Chinese brands (i.e. Hyundai, Kia, and Volkswagen) are now offering China-made vehicles that are affordable but offer bang for buck value.

Next up is Eric Tipan’s story which won the Best Automotive Online Lifestyle Feature. Titled "Pay Check: Can I Really Afford a Car?", the article serves as a guide to would-be new car buyers that are thinking to buy an all-new car, as well help them in budgeting and financing their vehicle’s payments/maintenance costs.

Aside from bagging awards for making informative features, AutoIndustriya.com also showed their photographic skills in capturing the moment. First up is Kelvin Christian Go's piece simply titled "Up". It won the Best Ford Automotive Photograph and highlighted the Ford Everest’s capability to climb every mountain and ford every stream with ease, while also being the perfect road trip vehicle.

Meanwhile, garnering the Best Automotive Photograph is Jenna Genio’s "Wolf Pack" photo. Taken during the Tour de Cebu, it highlighted various classic cars being driven by their enthusiastic owners that include an outlaw Porsche 356A, Alfa Romeo Guilia Sprint Speciale, Mercedes-Benz 280 SL, and Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV.

The final category that AutoIndustriya.com won was the Best Ford Automotive Video Feature. Called ‘What Makes The Ford Everest a Perfect Road Trip Vehicle', it highlights the Everest’s various features, amenities, and abilities that make it as one of the best road trip companions anyone can buy, on-road or off-road.
